- we are crazy
- we figure we are young enough and energetic enough to do everything at once and
- Jonathan wants to see if its possible to actually make my head explode…
I am now planning a wedding on top of a major home remodel. So a new category has been added and my worries have surfaced. My bible: Offbeat Bride: Taffeta-Free Alternatives for Independent Brides.
I now feel the need to compromise with the only person who counts. Now I’ve never needed anyone or any office to tell me if I’m committed for life, Jonathan and I are bound by bonds stronger than marriage licenses could ever be: joint mortgage. That being said, I’m happy. Happy because I know how rare and special our relationship is and nothing would make me prouder than to be Mrs. Ranger.
We’re planning as fun and environmentally responsible of a wedding as our big hearts and little pocketbooks can muster. And our lovely friends have jumped on board offering to help us in any way they can. Amy bought me Eco-Chic Weddings: Simple Tips to Plan an Environmentally Friendly, Socially Responsible, Affordable, and Stylish Celebration which is proving to be an excellent resource for ideas and vendors.
As soon as we set a date and a location I can rest again…or at least get back to the house….
