I bought my dress this weekend. I can’t even believe what a huge weight has been lifted with signing that check. I can now stop obsessing over this decision and start focusing on the details. Shoes, hair, makeup, jewelry, hair piece.
The gown is modern, a plunging v-neck with a slightly trumpted skirt. The absolute complete opposite of the dress I designed for myself but pictures don’t lie, it’s really the most flattering fit of all 40 dresses I tried on. I’ve been toying around with the idea of a birdcage veil.
Unveiled Bridal Designs has a Bandeau Birdcage veil with feathered clip that’s stunning. I’m hoping this will be a DIY project for the wedding…to save money and to keep my hands busy through the long stressful summer.
Twigs and Honey has some absolutely breathtaking feathered pieces as well. I love the idea of having a little color in there.
Now…on to shoes!
