I want to be good at everything.

That fact is probably the only constant in my personality. My tastes change with the wind (and my hair color). My hobbies number like the stars.

I am a generalist. A Jane-of-all-trades. I figure I’ve got another 60 years to learn everything I can in this life. I’m not taking any chances just in case the whole reincarnation thing doesn’t work out.

I’ve been crafting, arting, creating for as long as I can remember. My wonderful parents raised a curious child and encouraged any and all creative pursuits. I remember making paper earrings when I was 7. And then there was that incident when I was 2 with the sewing scissors and my brand-spankin-new bedspread (Mom will never let me forget it) or using a blank wall in my bedroom in high school as a sketchpad.

What’s in a name?

The Intrepid Cow is a reference to the series finale of Pushing Daisies. That show, like so many other things I love, captures a fantastical whimsy not often found in life. There should always be room for imagination, no matter what age. Imagination and macaroni & cheese.
